Any advice would be appreciated. Unplug any peripherals-usb external drives, printers, etc. I would uninstall ccleaner and chrome, until you get the system stable. Did you prep the hard drives by deleting any existing partitions (except oem recovery on the old drive) before the install and let Windows do the rest?

I can watch youtube videos or any other media in safe mobe but no sound. When i have booted up in "safe mode with networking" the latop is still over heating but it dosn't freeze or i don't get the blue screen of death. I don't haveany peripherals but my keyboard & mouse. You never know when one will leave you. Won't Boot in Normal or Safe Mode, BSOD 0x01E, Just Today HAL.DLL BSOD in normal boot, but not in safe mode Blocked connections booting normal, fine in Safe Mode... What do you find in the Event Viewer when in safe mode?
I am not sure what could be causing it. What are we looking for?
