I am however, able to F8 and go into system restore, etc and the computer will stay powered on there forever. I would boot with memtest 86 and test your memory first, it that passes then test the hard drive with the makers utility.Test 1 memory module at a time. I did numerous attempts on a lot of different strategies, my computer wouldn't let me start up in safe mode because it would just blue screen crash everytime I would even If using F8 you go to System Recovery,try it.
