The problem seems localized entirely within the restart process. Computer Restarts Randomly If this were a new problem, system restore might be helpful, but it sounds like it has worked this way since you just installed it. Whilst in safe mode I did a virus check with malwarebytes and the system was apparently clean. It is worth the update if your BIOS does not watch the latest version.
