When your computer’s CPU usage jumps to 100%, it indicates some software utility (or combination of different programs) is causing a problem and using up all the processing power. The processor spikes to 100% from the moment the computer boots up and then slowly comes back down but it keeps hovering around 75 to 100%. could that be the problem? Scan computer (not in safe mode)If there are any viruses then AVG will definitely catch them.
