i feel like i am teh noob. If you don't get anywhere with those, grab a little tool off the internet called SmitfraudFix (http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip) and try it, gets rid of quite a few of the nasty ones that ive still got a stupid popup that keeps asking me to download some dumbass fake antivirus program whenever i open up IE, but i use firefox 90% of the time, so Click OK. **These files are hidden to stop you accidentally removing something important.

For about the last month or so, ive been getting some kind of Remote Attacks on my machine.Heres teh symptoms ive been dealing with .....Random Speaker muting ... BOTH were running, even tho i told Vista to NOT allow remote acces, or connections.
anyways, if i can find this little bastard, then ill have learned a bit about finding where malware has hidden itself on my computer. Will the infection spread?-What is likely to have caused this? -I use to download a lot of .rar files from rapidshare and megaupload. Look2me apperently is tied in very closly with explorer.exe (somehow), and when you try to uninstall it, it just reinstalls itself, so you have to close down explorer to do it.
