If you don't know what your audio hardware consists of, click 'Start - Control panel - System' and in the top left hand corner you will see 'Device manager'. Here is what worked for me (found this on the net): Go to START > RUN > REGEDIT.EXE HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32 Create a new String value named ?wavemapper?. try repairing registry with registryrepair.exe software might I missed one? Some has been set to exclusively deny. Also ensure and verify that the msacm32.drv driver file is existing in C:WindowsSystem32 folder. In both firefox and IE.
