Hit F11 key until you see the restore feature. There seem to be an awful lot of HP owners here, then Toshiba, then Dell being the least. Had to disconnect power then hard drive, the reconnect just to get the pc to boot. O.K O.K so that didn't help? Vista Black Screen BTW, apparently if you get UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME with the code STOP 0x000000ED (0xC0000032...) MS says "the error is that the file system is damaged." Which is bad news. Nothing has worked, NOTHING!!!!!! I've attend 10 minutes but the screen remaining black.

Nows what I'm confused with! Check This Out I've disabled "restore point" and so..when i click (in F8 mode) the voice "LAST CONFIGURATION … " the black screen is always with me :) help me please, i'm very desperate!! I have vista an it keeps coming up with system failure so I ran it on safe mode and it said "i need to something with mircosoft" and so I prees When i try loading in safe mode it shows all of the files and just stays on please wait, if i try last know restore, it does exactly what it does by R.
