It's an amazing lifesafer in terms of retrieving files --I could even get on the internet using the IE6 browser that came with it. Once in the Windows XP setup menu press the "R" key to repair Windows. My work requires the computer so I have to wait till I finish before I can leave it for 2 hours while the test runs. The only thing left is to wipe my hard drive and do a system recovery. Try Booting Last Good Known Configuration Start the computer and hit F8 at the BIOS screen. Did not fix my problem.
